1. Acceptance of Terms
By adding, enabling, or using Advocate Network (“ADV”, “the bot”) in any Discord server, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not use the bot.
2. Intended Use
ADV is provided for authorized community management, moderation, support, and infrastructure purposes.
Use of the bot outside of its intended scope may result in:
- Limited or no support
- Feature restriction
- Temporary or permanent disablement
- Removal of the bot from the server
ADV reserves the right to determine appropriate use.
3. Data Collection & Logging
ADV collects and processes only the minimum data required for functionality and stability, including but not limited to:
- Command usage metadata
- Configuration data
- Ticket and support session metadata
- Error and diagnostic logs
- Server and channel identifiers related to ADV features
ADV does not monitor or log general message content outside of:
- Explicitly created ADV support channels
- Ticket channels
- Opt-in support relay sessions
All support relay and import sessions are explicitly initiated by server administrators.
Only messages posted within designated ADV support channels are relayed and archived for support purposes.
4. Support Sessions & Message Relays
When a server administrator initiates an ADV support session:
- Only messages sent within designated support channels are relayed
- Support sessions are opt-in and temporary
- Messages may be archived for diagnostic or support purposes
- Transcripts may be provided upon request
ADV does not access other channels, private messages, or unrelated content.
5. Import & Migration Features
ADV may provide tools to assist with importing or adopting existing server structures (roles, categories, ticket channels).
Import features:
- Are fully opt-in
- Do not modify or delete anything without confirmation
- Provide receipts of what was detected, adopted, or left unchanged
- Do not disable ADV features by default
ADV will not silently take over or modify existing frameworks.
6. Feature Availability & Capacity
ADV is provided as a free service and operates within defined capacity limits to ensure stability.
ADV may:
- Limit onboarding of new servers
- Temporarily restrict advanced features
- Degrade non-essential functionality
This is done to maintain service quality for existing users.
7. Abuse, Misuse & Enforcement
If ADV detects misuse, abuse, or behavior that threatens stability or compliance, ADV may:
- Issue warnings
- Throttle or restrict features
- Temporarily disable the bot in the server
- Withdraw the service entirely
ADV reserves the right to take these actions without prior notice when necessary.
8. Server Removal & Cleanup
Upon removal of ADV from a server:
- ADV does not delete channels, roles, or resources by default
- Cleanup occurs only upon explicit administrator request
- ADV-created resources may remain unless reset commands are used
9. No Warranty
ADV is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind.
ADV makes no guarantees regarding availability, uptime, data retention, or feature permanence. Use of the bot is at your own risk.
10. Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of ADV after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Contact & Support
For support, escalation, or questions regarding these Terms, contact ADV staff through official support channels or the designated ADV control server.
